Age, Gender, and Anxiety as Antecedents of Willingness to Communicate: Turkish EFL Context

Individual differences in language learning have been under close scrutiny for several decades. However, there is still place to be filled with new research understand how and what extent these relate to/effect process. Both foreign classroom anxiety (FLCA) second willingness communicate (L2 WTC) key individual paradigm educational psychology applied linguistics. To this end, the current study aims disclose secondary school EFL learners’ FLCA/ L2 WTC levels their causal relations/predictions by comparing participants’ age gender differences. The participants were 131 students. Statistical results pointed out moderate of FLCA WTC. When difference compared, it was observed that both variables made significant on females surpassing males scores. Similarly, regression analysis indicated as predictors Study findings discussed implications withdrawn from results.
